Difference between different types of MP4 Formats (Fragmented MP4, MPEG-4 & Hybrid MP4)?

I’m a bit confused about the different types of MP4 formats, like fragmented MP4, standard MPEG-4, and hybrid MP4. (I noticed these all in OBS Settings > Output > Recording section > recording format.)

  • What exactly are these variations?
  • When should I use each one?

I’m looking for a clear understanding of what distinguishes them and how to decide which MP4 format is best for my needs. Thanks for your help!
